  Official Dress Standards  
Official FFA Dress      
The uniform worn by FFA members at local, state and national functions is called Official Dress. It provides identity and gives a distinctive and recognizable image to the organization and its members. Official Dress has been worn with pride by millions of FFA members since 1933.

Official Dress Guidelines      
Official Dress for FFA members include:
  • An official FFA jacket zipped to the top.
  • Black slacks and black socks/nylons or black skirt and black nylons.
  • White collared blouse or white collared shirt.
  • Official FFA tie or official FFA scarf.
  • Black dress shoes with closed heel and toe.
Note: Official garb of recognized religions may be worn with Official Dress.

Additional Oklahoma FFA Official Dress Recommendations      
  • When wearing a black skirt, the skirt should be no shorter than one inch above the knee, hemmed evenly across the bottom, with a slit no longer than two inches above the knee, excluding the kick pleat.Leather skirts and skirts with excessive slits are not acceptable.
  • The bow tie for sale in the national FFA catalog is not considered Official Dress.
  • A cowboy hat or cap is not acceptable with Official Dress at any time.
  • Never wear more than three medals on your jacket.Wear your state convention button on your left jacket collar.Always remove the button following convention.No other buttons or patches are acceptable.
