Letter to the Members:
My name is Isabella Whitlock, and I proudly serve as the 2025-2026 Oklahoma FFA Southeast Area Vice President. I’m the daughter of Cody and Jennifer Whitlock, a little sister to two older brothers, and a big sister to my younger sister. I am also known as “Aunt Izzy” to three energetic and sweet nephews who keep me on my toes and constantly smiling.

I was born in Greenville, Texas, in November of 2006 and attended Campbell Public Schools through the second grade. In 2015, my family moved to Mead, Oklahoma, a small town just outside of Durant, to be closer to extended family and my dad’s job. My older brothers and I then enrolled in Silo Public Schools, where the community welcomed us with open arms and I became deeply involved in athletics and several extracurricular activities.

My FFA journey began in eighth grade, following in the footsteps of my dad and brothers, who were all involved before me. At first, I saw it as a family tradition, but I quickly realized FFA was so much more. It became my second home, offering opportunities that pushed me, inspired me, and helped me grow as both a person and a leader.

I’ve had the privilege of being taught and mentored by two outstanding agricultural educators, Tara and Brandon Brown, who have been instrumental in shaping not only my FFA experience but also the person I am today. Under their guidance, I launched my Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) in equine production. Through this project, I’ve managed the care, conditioning, and performance of my four rodeo horses. I’ve also taken on the challenge of purchasing, training, and selling young horses, giving me experience in animal ownership, time management, and entrepreneurship.

Two of my favorite activities throughout my FFA experience were competing in the Floriculture Career Development Event and participating in Public Speaking. These activities pushed me out of my comfort zone and gave me the skills and confidence I needed to be a successful leader.

One of my favorite high school memories was attending the National FFA Convention during my sophomore year with my chapter officer team. Aside from the incredible sessions and workshops, what made the trip so unforgettable was our final night. We stayed up until sunrise playing video games and laughing in the living room of our Airbnb, which was an experience that truly bonded us and turned teammates into lifelong friends.
