How your chapter can participate:
DONATE AN ANIMAL
You can donate an animal at the Tulsa State Fair or the Oklahoma Youth Expo. You must bring your animal to the Expo, register with the Regional Food Bank for your tax deductible receipt and then walk the animal to designated area for donation.
CENTS MAKES SENSE
Let everyone in your community know that your chapter is adding 25 cents to each fundraising product sold to support the Backpacks for Hungry Kids program. For example, add 25 cents to each package of sausage sold. There are no specific requirements or guidelines for how chapters raise money for the donation.
If your chapter chooses to collect an additional 25 cents per fundraising item sold, or raises funds through any other method, please combine all donations and submit them as one check to:

One hundred percent of the proceeds from your chapter's animal or cash donation will be used to produce the nutritious meat sticks that are a vital part of the backpacks hungry Oklahoma children take home to help sustain them over the weekends.
Every chapter participating between Aug. 1, 2026, and April 1, 2027, will be recognized during the 2027 State FFA Convention.
